Getting Started

logo General Overview
  • Create an account
You can create an account by clicking here.
  • Download, install and configure HeadCount
Headcount is a Curse addon which can be downloaded here. You'll need to understand how to install WoW addons in order to complete this process. Once you have HeadCount downloaded and working in WoW, see the many images below to help you get started.
  • Run a raid, maybe assign some loot
  • Upload your raid data
  • Check your Raid Data
  • Setting up attendance
I'm going to assume you are able to create an account here, download and install HeadCount into WoW and run your own raid. If you can't do these things, then this website is probably not for you. This is geared towards people who want to run raids and do the guild adiministration type tasks. Regular old guild members do not need to worry with this how-to, just click here to login and be sure to have your guild passcode handy! However, if you are of the guild administrator type, by all means read on!
Step 1: Using the GUI to configure HeadCount
ss1
When you have instaleld HeadCount correctly, you will see a skull icon (upper right corner here) around your minimap in-game. Depending on if you right or left click it, you'll see different options. Easy enough, yup! Click on Step 2 to continue!
Step 2: The configuration menu, a basic look
Step 3: Date formats, use 'Month-Day-Year'
Step 4: Time totals, check 'Raid list time'
Step 5: Time zones, I'm using -5 (EST)
Step 6: Use a 24-hour time format
Step 7: Group setup - untested, leave it as default?
Step 8: Set a minimum loot quality, epic IMO!
Step 9: What's a loot management popup? Make sure it's checked
Step 10: Loot exclusion - set it up or you'll be sorry!
Step 11: Export format - XML
Step 12: What's it like in-game?
Step 13: Another view
Step 14: One last view
