When you have instaleld HeadCount correctly, you will see a skull icon (upper right corner here) around your minimap in-game. Depending on if you right or left click it, you'll see different options. Easy enough, yup! Click on Step 2 to continue!

This is the main GUI configuration. You will be able to use this to select which options suit you and lootcouncil.com. If something's not working, it's more than likely going to be because something in this configuration area is not setup properly. Please keep in mind we are beta testing and can really use your help with what works and what does not. Don't be shy! Click on Step 3 to continue!

The date format needs to be setup this way. Our XML parser needs it to be in this specific format or your date stamps will most likely be garbage. Deviate from this setting at your own risk as I still need to test it. Click on Step 4 to continue!

Currently, we are running our raids with only 'Raid list time' checked. I'm pretty sure you will more than likely want to give credit to those people who are waitlisted too. We will build this in as an option in the 'Admin Guild' as well, since we know when somoeone's added to the waitlist via event data. At a minimum, ensure you have 'Raid list time' checked. This has not been tested. Please let me know if you have issues with time stamps. I believe all times are reported in GMT as far as the data feeds (what you copy and paste into this site) are concerned. You will have the ability to modify your guild's timezone in the 'Admin Guild' area, which will correct incorrectly reported times by adjusting your timezone.

Please ensure you use a 24 hour time format, our parser needs this to get your AM/PM set correctly.

Currently untested, please set this the same. Deviate from that at your own risk.

Most of us raiders don't care much about anything less than epic quality loot being recorded. Adjust to suit your needs.

You will want the loot management popup, ensure that it is checked. This will give you the ability to assgin items to be disenchanted or offspeced in real-time, when loot goes out after your boss kills. We'll see more on this in a bit, for now ensure that it's checked.

Look exclusion is very important. If you fail to setup loot exclusion, things like badges will be recorded for each person in your raid and THAT SUCKS. It is an enormous nusiance if you fail to setup look exclusion properly. I will try to get you a SS of my currently excluded loot (sorry I forgot this). However, you will want to ensure you get all of the badges on your exclusion list, at a minimum.

We only support XML data feeds. Set this or it's game over for you :). If you recorded raids previously, not to worry, all of your previous raids will output in XML so long as you set this properly before you export a raid.

Okay, this is what the main view of HeadCount looks like. Once you are done with the configuration nightmare (it's really not that bad) you will want to play around with this view. In order to do that, you need to run a raid; so get to it! Once a player picks up a piece of epic or greater loot, you will see the 'Manage Loot' window popup, which is shown on the right. This one shows the user getting the loot as 'Disenchanted'. Normally, the player who receives the loot will have their name in the 'Looted by:' drop down menu.

If you hit the drop down menu, this is what you see. Pretty self explanitory I hope!

Here's me going through and reassigning a totem to a person who wanted it. I accidentally hit disenchanted, but he's gotta pay for what he takes so make sure you keep your data tidy!
